Moyo Babies Home

The parish has been actively supporting a project by the International Refugee Trust (IRT) in Northern Uganda – the Moyo Babies’ Home. Here, a group of sisters and lay assistants care for orphaned and abandoned babies. There is a collection box in church and over £30,000 has been donated by parishioners since 2002. Just outside the main entrance to Sacred Heart church is a display, illustrating the work being done at the Babies’ Home by the sisters.
