Larger Pastoral Areas (LPA's)

The 24 new "Larger" Pastoral Areas will come into effect from the 1st September 2006. This represents a major reorganisation of the Diocese and in effect creates mutually supporting groups of parishes under the leadership of a Co-ordinating Pastor.

For us in Waterlooville this effectively means the transition of the existing Deanery into being a Pastoral area with our existing Dean - Canon Terrence Healy (aka Fr. Tim) taking on the role of Co-ordinating Pastor.
